Job Duties
Analyze users' needs, design, test, and develop software to meet those needs. Recommend
software upgrades for customers' existing programs and systems. Design each piece of the
application or system and plan how the pieces will work together. Create a variety of models and
diagrams (such as flowcharts) that instruct programmers how to write software code. Ensure that
the software continues to function normally through software maintenance and testing.
Document every aspect of the application or system as a reference for future maintenance and
upgrades. Collaborate with other computer specialists to create optimum software. Must be able
to travel temporarily to client sites throughout the U.S. with expenses paid by the employer.
Requirements
Require Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Computer
Information Systems, Engineering, Information Technology, or Business Administration and 5
years of experience as a Software Engineer, Programmer Analyst, Consultant, or Software
Developer.
Hours
40hrs/week, Mon to Fri, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
