Job Duties:

• Apply modern software engineering principles to analyze, design, and develop cloud-based software solutions.
• Analyze and review existing software systems (including legacy) and data sets to help Business Analysts define the functional and non-functional requirements.
• Participate in daily standup and various phases of the projects – initiate, discover, design, develop, deploy, and advise the EDW production support team.
• Develop, implement, and maintain organizational data strategy, which includes database design and management of data warehouses and data analytics systems.
• Build data models to get actionable insights from data, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics.
• Design and develop data pipelines to extract data from various data sources using Azure, Snowflake Cloud, and cloud-native technologies.
• Design and manage inbound and outbound data processes, monitor, and work with the data provider to bring new feed into their data ecosystem.
• Write test-driven development-based code to meet overall data quality standards defined by the users.
• Automate the data testing processes and integrate them with monitoring systems.
• Collaborate with and support Application Engineering, DBA, Infrastructure, and Project Management teams.
• Work in Agile methodology as part of a scrum team to develop and deliver high- quality products incrementally and in an interactive manner.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, product owners, and stakeholders in proposing and estimating project activities and status.
• Prepare documentation and detailed reports and deliver knowledge transfer of the new processes that will be developed and implemented, and improvements made to the existing processes.
• Confer with the business users, troubleshoot, and debug data-related technical issues in production, and support their data infrastructure needs.

Requirements:

• This position requires an individual with at least a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
